This will be the quickest, shortest post ever...
we arrived in Rome yesterday morning after the most INSANE train adventures...to say the least, we missed our train due to a mis read ticket, we hopped on a train to Milan in a third class car (not our deluxe 1st class private all inclusive sleeper like the first train). Grandma and Grandpa joined us and pushed us up to the top bunkers where we felt like we were in an incinerator. We got out of there as fast as we could and headed straight to the dining car where we had missed the first formal "seating" for dinner, so we made a reservation for the next one at 1040pm and then we started drinking...i can't really speak about the rest of the night because im still trying to believe that it was real, to give you a taste of what im attempting to believe google these two names and then let me know what you think... Kaylan Morgan, and Landon Falgoust...
after arriving in Milan we transferred trains and headed to Rome, where we cabbed to our hotel, checked in, layed down and booked it to our walking tour, 3 hours, a nap in the coliseum, and several bottles of water later we got back to the hotel to meet Josh who had just arrived and all napped before our next adventure... we overslept a little bit and woke up at 830pm, just enough time to change into our canada day outfits and head to the meeting spot for the pub crawl. Open bar was only from 9 to 10pm but we made use of it very well...
once again i am still attempting to process the events of last night, but as for now ill tell you that Yas and I now know where we're working next summer...
Were off for some shopping and possibly the Vatican? I also received a generous "donation" from the bank so the shopping is only going to get that much better...
Thank you President's Choice.
